How will I communicate with the staff member and provide the required documents for payroll and bookkeeping?

When choosing a staff member from Totus, we ensure they slip straight into your working processes. If you use email to communicate, then so will they. If you use teams, they will to.

All our staff are trained experts in cloud-based systems, most notably Xero, which means the documents can be transferred and stored, safely and securely, from anywhere in the world.

How does payment work?

We bill on the first of every month which is payment for the month ahead. For example, an invoice sent on the 1st of August is effectively the payment for the whole of August. Payments are taken via direct debit.

Is there a minimum contract?

We only ask for a 3-month commitment at the commencement of the agreement and following that just one month’s notice to terminate the agreement. Additionally, should the candidate not turn out as you required during the initial 3-month period, we will provide a replacement at no extra cost.  

Who will find my full-time member of staff?

From a client point of view, you just need to send us your Job description or wish list of skills and experience. Ideally, we’d also have a call to understand employment culture, full requirements for the role, ideal candidate and soft skills. We then do the rest, although we do believe the choice should be yours; so, we supply you with our recommended, pre-screened candidates for you to interview over video call to ensure the right chemistry is there and you find the perfect match for your business. 

Who will find my part-time member of staff?

From a client point of view, you just need to send us your Job description or wish list of skills and experience. Ideally, we’d also have a call to understand employment culture, full requirements for the role, ideal candidate and soft skills. We can then assess our talent pool and assign you the member of staff most suited to your needs.

What is our co-sourcing service pricing like?

Our bookkeeping and payroll services are bespoke and as such prices are determined on the type of candidate required and the amount of time needed. You can contact our team to see what we can offer, or use our “Build a Package” to give yourself a guide.

Do co-sourcing accountancy services mean I lose control of my business?

No. We work as an extended part of your team. You will always be in control of what work we take care of. We are simply here to offer you a helping hand and save you time and money. You will still be able to make key decisions and approve payments.

How do I co-source my bookkeeping and payroll?

Will I have to pay recruitment costs or additional fees?

Simply put, no – we never charge any recruitment costs or finder fee, it’s all part of our comprehensive, premium staffing service where you pay one flat monthly fee.
